Sterka Concepts founders and team are motivated entrepreneurs with background in several sectors and industries. The founders are Rick Wang and JJ Wang, a father and son infused unique concept and design for pedelec e-bikes that was influenced and inspired by a career in Professional Remote Control Racing and Kit Building. We are a team based in both California and Shanghai, China, bringing quick innovation, diversity and efficiency to the e-bike community.
We are here to provide you with an experience in building your very own high quality e-bike with the freedom to customize for a lifetime. Our goal is to bring together a fun and niche community of builders and bike enthusiasts and to offer an easy to ride, activity-based performance bike. A pedelec e-bike product is not entirely new to the market, and therefore we took a different approach to allow for an interactive experience comparable to the so called “Lego” brand. More importantly, we offer new technology to ease the way of riding a bike and provide a premium feel to the product.
Modularization concept was inspired by Co-Founders passion for RC (Remote Control) racing car design and kit building.
The Adult “Lego” approach targets those who has the passion to DIY and have fun doing it.
Sterka M1 is modular and flexible for future customization and upgrades.
The Concept may not be entirely new, but no other E-Bikes in the current market takes this modular concept to this extreme with the highest quality and engineering standards.

The Power-driven Program uses a high energy efficient and balanced gravity mid drive motor with an integrated torque sensor and a speed sensor. This motor will provide the rider with great force at the start which the rider will feel the excitement of riding the bike.
Has a 5-speed built-in internal gear transmission hub to achieve the perfect match for low speed/high torque and high speed riding
Power level adjustments allow power assisted pedaling under all conditions
Front and rear pneumatic shock absorbers provide comfort for any road conditions. Adjustable preload pressure corresponding to the rider’s weight, alleviate the impact caused by the road surface.
Front and rear hydraulic braking system ensures safe braking at maximum speed.
Built-in 36V/10Ah lithium battery (18650) with proven BMS (Battery Management System) provides reliable electric power to the power unit. A fully charged battery has a range of over 250km. 3-4 hours of charge time to 100%.
(Test environment: ~77°F, flat road, normal tire pressure, a 154lb weighs rider, less than #3 wind speed , all at top gears, a 20km/h uniform riding speed.)
